Within the moderation control panel you will see the following moderation options here included:

• Manage Your Forums
• Manage Members
• IP Address Tools

Manage Your Forums
This sector of the moderation control panel will display the current forums that the moderator is moderating.

Manage Members
This sector of the moderation control panel allows moderators to edit users details.
The details that may be editted include Location, Interests, and Signature. Moderators have the uncanny ability to remove/edit any of those details including a users avata

IP Address Tools
This sector of the moderation control panel is divide up into 3 parts, they are as follows:
Resolve IP Address: This option in the moderation control panel under IP Address Tools will allow you (the moderator and/or administrator) to look up an IP address for more information regarding IP adresses (Note: You must enter all 4 parts of the IP address to use this tool).
Find Posts with this IP: This option in the moderation control panel under IP Adress Tools will run a search for all posts & topics associated with this IP address.
Find members who registered with this IP: This option in the moderation control panel under IP Adress Tools will run a seach for all members who registered with the inputed IP address.

Side Note: When using any of the above IP address searching tools you may input a wildcard (a wildcard is a * at the end of the IP, for example if you had this IP: 989.*.*.* it would match all IP addresses that start with 989, an error will occur if you attempt to use a wildcard in the middle of the IP address. For example, 989.*.0.1 will return an error).

Now you should have a good grasp of the main top functions of the moderation control panel, there are more moderation options on the bottom of the control panel, they are as follows:

• Moderate New Topic Queue
• Moderate New Post Queue
• Mass Move\Prune Topics

Moderate New Topic Queue
This sector of the moderation control panel will allow a board administrator or moderator to moderator a selected user on mod queue or chosen to validate topics before they are posted, then the moderator or administrator may approve them in this section of the Mod CP.

Moderate New Post Queue
This sector of the moderation control panel will allow a board administrator or moderator to moderator to moderate a selected user on mod queue or chosen to validate posts before they are posted, then the moderator or administrator may approve them here in this section of the Mod CP.

Mass Move\Prune Topics
This sector of the moderation control panel is were a moderator or administrator may remove topics or move topics to another forum based on his/her choice.
To mass move topics choose a destination forum from the drop-down menu.
To mass remove topics choose PRUNE ONLY from the forums drop-down menu. (Note: Mass moving topics will not leave links behind, it will just simply auto-move all the selected topics).
