If you are an administrator, and receive an error that states that you cannot communicate to that member due to the case a member has blocked you, or the PM system is turned off, follow these simple instructions:


Clearly state that it is your board's policy that members are not allowed to block administrators from sending PM's to them. PM's are a Personal Message, and you may need to inform to members about situations or upcomming events on your board's. Give that member a chance to unblock you, and then you should be able to communicate regularly. At the last resort, you may have to warn the member, or delete his account.

  • There is a certain chance that your PM's are actually turned off. To turn them on, simply log into your Admin CP --> Manage User Groups --> Find the appropriate group --> Edit Group --> Under Can Use PM System? Select Yes. Now simply click on the link located at the bottom of the page entitled
    Edit User Group and your done.
